Neonatal Resuscitation SyllabusUpdated 2 years ago
A Neonatal Resuscitation certification through ACLS is an excellent option for anyone in the medical field who needs to certify or recertify. Any medical professional working in Labor and Delivery and the NICU, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, should have a deep understanding of the principles and practice of neonatal resuscitation. Our courses are all self-paced, self-instructed, and take most learners around three hours to complete the full program.
Our Neonatal Resuscitation certification course provides accredited CEU/CME credits for EMTs, AEMTs, paramedics, respiratory therapists, nurses, nurse anesthetists, physicians, physician assistants, dentists, and pharmacists. Your initial Neonatal Resuscitation certification is valid for 2 years and provides you with eight CEU credits. Our course was created using the most recent (8th) edition of the text.
The Neonatal Resuscitation certification course covers the following:
- Cognitive knowledge of Neonatal Resuscitation concepts and interventions
- Critical components of newborn resuscitation, including a solid understanding of the correct sequence according to the Neonatal Resuscitation flow diagram and optimize neonatal outcomes
- Supporting the goals and purpose of Neonatal Resuscitation Provider status
- Neonatal Resuscitation knowledge, skills, and teamwork, which may reduce neonatal morbidity and mortality by participating in a hands-on skills evaluation or online skills assessment
*It's important to note that we are not the AAP and will not have their name or logo on our card. If you need an AAP card you'll want to reach out to them.
