Official Accreditation StatementUpdated a year ago

Some learners may need to present accreditation information to their employer for verification.  You can download the statement at the bottom of the article for that purpose in a PDF format.

Hundreds of thousands of healthcare and medical professionals have successfully earned and continually maintain their certifications through our programs because our courses are all built on the latest guidelines (followed by the AHA) and provide the evidence-based training required by current ECC and ILCOR guidelines. Our programs are approved to provide CME/CEU credits in joint providership with the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine (PIM) for medical professionals.

Our certification cards validate your training on the most current emergency cardiovascular care (ECC) guidelines and standards published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). All of our content has been reviewed and approved by a number of credible third-party accrediting agencies as well as our Clinical Program Director and Medical Board of Advisors.

Some employers prefer their personnel obtain their certifications through the American Heart Association, however, they are not an accrediting body and cannot approve, accredit, or certify other courses.  Although there are no major differences in our courses, some employers do require the AHA brand.  Our certification cards do not include the AHA name, logo, or other branding as our courses are not AHA courses.  We are a different company and cannot provide their brand of certifications, however,
our courses are based on the same guidelines and standards used by the American Heart Association set forth by ECC and ILCOR.

Furthermore, our Neonatal Resuscitation Program follows the same standards and guidelines as the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), however, similar to the AHA, we are a different company and therefore cannot provide their brand of course.

ACLS.com prides itself on customer satisfaction so
if your certification is not accepted by your employer we'll be happy to process a full refund within 90 days of course completion. Your employer can also give us a call and we'll be happy to verify your certification.

We are also accredited through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Medical Association (AMA).
