How Long Does the Course Take to Complete?Updated 2 years ago

From start to finish, most learners set aside at least four hours to complete the didactic online program.  As the course and exam are both self-paced, you can take a break and return later or finish the course in one sitting.  If you exit the exam your answers will be saved.  We suggest taking your time to complete the program in a quiet environment where you won't be disturbed.  Like most courses, the final exam is designed to test your knowledge as a medical/healthcare professional so there's no need to rush.

Upon completion of the course and exam, you'll complete the required CE/CME Registration where you will select whether or not you need a skills evaluation.  The skills portion is only required for some learners.  Most doctors, nurses, surgeons, medical assistants, admin staff, etc. are not typically required to complete skills.  However, some employers may still require hands-on training so we suggest confirming with your employer before declining the skills portion.  If not needed, your certification card will be generated for download upon submitting the CME/CE Information module.

Keep in mind, that if the skills portion is needed this will add extra time to your program, which is determined by how quickly the evaluation is completed and returned to our team (if a verified evaluation is required).
